Starting in the fall semester of 2018 Lily Helipads™ will be working with Hanley Wood University to create a course for continuing education for architects to learn about the design and safety features of a permeable helipad that is also designed and environmently friendly. The June 2018 AIA newsletter will contain an article about our relationship with Hanley Wood University.
Lily Helipads™ receives U.S. Patent No: US 9,745,704 B1
Lily Helipads™, Indiana owned and operated received their United States Patent (No.: US 9,745,704 B1) for a helicopter take-off and landing pad (helipad) that is built green. Designed in collaboration with both construction and environmental engineers and helicopter pilots with SIM (Snow Ice Melt) capabilities along with LED lightning while also capturing any liquid run-off into water separators that are operable to separate from other liquid components.
